  12. The Icon book (2nd edition) has examples of routines that could be adapted to
  13. this purpose.  Right now the examples simply return the next 'word' of the
  14. input text, but by changing the definition of the word and by returning
  15. a record instead of the word itself, you should be able to get a Euler scanner
  16. fairly quickly.  Are you sure it is to *return* the tokens and not *generate*
  17. them?  (Whomever is requiring you to do this in Icon should know the answer.)
